Hi everyone, I have a big question regarding current job trends in the software industry, specifically around QA/QC roles. With the rapid rise of powerful AI tools (like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and AI-powered testing frameworks), developers can now easily generate test cases, mock data, and run automation tests for their own code very quickly. This got me thinking: If developers can effectively leverage AI to test products, why do companies still spend their budget to hire and maintain a dedicated testing/QA team?
